If Mazzy Jacobs (she/her) had to describe herself in one word, it’d be “creative”. Her creativity was practically genetic - with her mom a costume designer, she was exposed to the arts at a young age. Mazzy has always been passionate about her family and the relationship they share, so it was natural for her to pick up both her imagination and dreams from her mother. Even though she wants to be a costume designer too, this is just one of her interests. 

She cares about animals, the environment, and all of the arts. She likes film and music, her favorites being “My Babysitter's a Vampire” and "In Love" by the Raincoats respectively. She wants to save our planet, protect the beauties of nature and wildlife from ourselves. She loves - maybe even more than anything - cats. If she had a chance to speak to her future self, she’d say to never stop loving them, and to get even more. 

Like many creative people do, Mazzy is branching out. From film, to music, to costuming, she joined journalism to get into literature. Something she wants to do in the present is stop pretending to read, and become a better reader. Now, she attempts to go further, and be the one writing.
