Teacher Profile: the amazing Dr. Kobaissi

Dr. Kobaissi is a biology teacher at Eagle Rock High. His room is located on the third floor in the administration building, which makes up the science department in the school. This article is about learning who Dr. Kobaissi is and what is in his mind during the day
Dr. Kobaissi has been a teacher for the past 30 years, having worked at Eagle Rock for 20. He also taught at Taft High School for 9 and a ½ years. Dr. Kobaissi graduated from Cal State Northridge in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. Three years later, he graduated with a degree in education. Finally, he got his doctorate's degree in 2013.
If he had the choice to teach anything else, he would like to teach psychology, construction, and automobiles. During his teaching journey, he has seen many funny things. One of them was when he was teaching at Taft High School. During that time, a bat flew inside of his classroom that was filled with football and basketball players. They were all running and jumping all over the room. One of these students ended up in the NFL.
In Dr. Kobaissi’s class you will meet his friend Harvey. Harvey is a 7 foot tall rabbit who is shy and only he can see. Dr. Kobaissi has known him for the past 20 years and says “always be polite to him and to do your homework or he will follow you home.”
Dr. Kobaissi is talented at teaching but he is also very good at fixing cars. He has worked on cars ever since he was 16 and over time, he has become an expert at air cooled engines. Though he is good at fixing cars, he wouldn’t consider himself to be a mechanic, since he never went to school and got a degree.
Dr. Kobaissi has many things that he is interested in. He likes superheroes and he mentioned that his favorite superhero is Superman. Dr. Kobaissi is also an active person, so he enjoys the summer since he doesn't have to worry about the cold. It also makes sense since he has a pool he enjoys during that time.
Finally, Dr. Kobaissi is an energetic, compassionate, and goofy teacher. He always has energy to teach his classes every day without exception. Dr. Kobaissi will always give tips on your work, or when you are stuck in your work, and he heats up your food when it's cold. He is also goofy, because he goes on side tangents when he teaches. He talks about his clones, and his sons.
