About

Diego Ceron (he/him) is a 9th grader who is excited to be going into his first year of journalism. He is looking forward to having a place where he can share his thoughts. Diego is also a new student! He’s really loving Eagle Rock so far, although he says it will take some time to adjust to the big campus. As of now, his favorite class at Eagle Rock has been math because he finds it “simple”. Besides math, Diego Ceron has a wide range of skills. Diego knows a large range of card games that he enjoys teaching to his friends. Another passion of his is skateboarding, he’s been strengthening his skills for three years now!

At home, Diego has two sisters named Emily and Sarai, a tortoise named Cherry, three turtles named Shadow, Delta and Merlin, and a dog named Canello. Diego is LA born and raised, his favorite place to spend time is Downtown LA, and as a true Los Angeles native Diego doesn’t feel the need to travel elsewhere because he has “everything here”. Diego loves the hustle and bustle of big cities because he enjoys people watching and considers himself an observant person.

When he’s not at school or skateboarding, Diego likes to “sleep and eat” in his free time. Diego has had a lifelong dream of becoming a chef ever since he was a kid but now he better sees himself owning a dealership that sells motorcycles and E-bikes when he’s older. With thoroughly relatable hobbies and his passion for journalism that began the minute he was “put in the class”. Diego is excited to begin his journalism journey!
