Radiohead, the legendary English rock band best known for their innovative sound and thought-provoking lyrics, are making a highly anticipated return to the stage after a seven-year hiatus. Formed in 1985, the band has captivated audiences with their unique blend of alternative rock, electronic music, and experimental sounds. Their last tour, which supported A Moon Shaped Pool, wrapped up in 2018, leaving fans anxious for another.
In addition to their upcoming tour, Radiohead has recently announced the release of their new live album, Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009. This album will feature live performances of the tracks from their 2003 album Hail to the Thief, showcasing the band’s dynamic energy during concerts in cities like London, Amsterdam, and Buenos Aires. This album is set to be available digitally and on vinyl this fall, allowing fans to enjoy their music while feeling the energy of a live concert.
The Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009 album includes some of Radiohead's most beloved tracks, such as “2+2=5,” “There There,” and “Go to Sleep.” Each song captures the band’s signature blend of haunting melodies and intricate instrumentation. “2+2=5” opens the album with a powerful punch, reflecting the band’s political commentary and energetic live performance style. Other notable tracks from the album include "Sail to the Moon," "Where I End and You Begin," and "A Wolf at the Door," each offering a unique glimpse into the band's evolution over the years. The live versions of these songs are expected to bring a fresh energy that contrasts with their studio counterparts.
Kicking off on November 4, 2025, in Madrid, Spain, the tour will include multiple performances in major cities such as Berlin, Bologna, Copenhagen, and London. As tour dates approach, anticipation is in the air. Radiohead’s return not only marks a significant moment for the band, but also reignites the passion of their dedicated fanbase. With a new live album and much-awaited tour, Radiohead is poised to make a powerful impact in the music industry once again.
