Humans: senior handprints

The first day of senior year is a day that ignites a myriad of emotions for future graduates, and this whirlwind of feeling didn’t spare ERHS’s Class of 2025. The class of 2025 also wasn’t spared of classic Eagle Rock traditions that fill senior year with events and experiences to carry on with them in their next steps.

On the first day of school, the new seniors joined together at lunch for the annual Senior Handprint Day. Vibrant handprints of pink and blue (the seniors’ class colors) rapidly covered the group’s shirts, occasionally making it onto the MMXXV poster.

The Eagle’s Scream's Editor-in-Chief Sofia Casias recorded the lunchtime event with the following images. Occasionally she asked the seniors a question.

What is one thing you would tell incoming 7th graders?

Do not slack off. As much as you want to sit at a table with your friends it may hurt you in the long run.

What is one thing you would tell incoming 7th graders?

Make a lot of friends because friends are fun. Talk to people you would never talk to otherwise because they’re actually pretty cool.

Enjoy high school and middle school while it lasts. You won’t believe your time is over until senior year.
