Sofia Casias (she/her) has lived in three places so far; San Diego, Orange County, and now Cypress Park in Los Angeles. Although she is afraid of heights, she still manages to face this fear for roller coasters. Growing up, interest in what she wanted to do shifted, from firefighter to president.

Incredibly aware of the world around her, she has forged connections to both the school and the people around her. In addition to being a member of the water polo team and journalism, class president, and founder and co-president of her own club, she is incredibly close to her three younger siblings, family is an important part of her life. 

Since her childhood, her interests have shifted to environmental science and fighting climate change. Empowering people to make a difference while she makes a huge one herself is something that she looks forward to in the future.
