On March 9th, members of Eagle Rock’s boys and girls tennis teams attended the BNP Paribas Open, one of the biggest pro-tennis tournaments in the world. This event was held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home to the second-largest outdoor tennis stadium in the world. Our school’s aspiring tennis players were quite literally able to observe the world’s best, watching the global men's top three play, among others. Being at this tournament was an amazing experience, so here are a few photos that perfectly capture the essence of 2024’s BNP Paribas Open.
A special thank you to Coach Jacobson and everyone who supported the tennis team’s early August fundraiser, as this wouldn’t have been possible without them. And, please don’t ask me to explain the scoring in tennis. It is way too confusing for anyone to fully understand.
