Shoes of Eagle Rock

As the school year begins, we decided to photograph some of the amazingly unique shoes here at Eagle Rock. We asked them each a question or two, trying to understand their personal thoughts about their shoes. Enjoy!

Margot Moynihan (Grade 9)

Where did you hear about them and are they comfortable? 

“I saw them on pinterest, and I’ve seen pictures of them and I liked them. They are very comfortable, they’re like my most comfortable shoes.”

Laura Ramos (Grade 12)

What inspired you to get these shoes?

“I just really wanted boots because of the rain. I had uggs and uggs and rain don’t mix and then I bought these shoes and then it stopped raining. Now, I just take them to parties.” 

Sam Sealey (Grade 9)

Why did you choose to wear them today?

“They were speaking to me from the corner of my bedroom and I thought they would go nicely with my jeans.”

What is a fun fact about the shoes you are wearing?

“I found my shoes in the men's section because in certain stores they don’t have many good street shoe options in women’s shoes, but the men’s does.”

Irene Maddox (Grade 11)

Are your shoes difficult to find or buy?

“If you look up red, white, and blue shoes on Google, they will probably be the first ones that pop up. That's what I did.”

Ivy Spruell (Grade 12)

Where did you discover those shoes?

“I actually discovered them from my really close friend who has all three colors of them. I bought these ones off of Depop.”
