This article on immigration was written by Eagle’s Scream staff writer, Karla Vasquez, an immigrant herself. This is her first year at Eagle Rock High School, and in the United States as a whole. Karla is a native of Él Salvador, and as an only Spanish speaking student, she has had to overcome a very unique set of challenges that most of us can’t even imagine.
