About

Born in Glendale (ew) and raised in the town of Eagle Rock, Vivienne Freeman (she/her) is an Editor-In-Chief of The Eagle’s Scream and a senior at Eagle Rock High School. As the main anchor of The Broken News, Vivienne has loved movies from a very young age. Her favorite film as a child was The Princess Bride because of how well crafted the movie is, and it sparked her love for videography.

Now, as Vivienne has grown, her current favorite movie is Playtime by Jacques Tati. It's a nearly dialogue-less French film only true movie buffs can love. Freeman can be found watching the film while munching on some crepes with a Dr. Pepper as her drink of choice; however, her love of food doesn’t end there. If she was an animal she would want to be a monkey that snacked on fruit all day. While she may love monkeys her brain is nowhere near as small as theirs. Vivienne has a profound interest in philosophy, specifically Friedrich Nietzsche.

Looking to the future, Vivienne has big plans after high school. In the short term, she wants to attend college studying a mixture of creative writing, English, and screenwriting. Her big goal is to become a writer for a major late night show. Freeman’s biggest inspirations in the field are John Oliver, Tina Fey, and (and her personal favorite) Conan O'Brien.

This bio is dedicated to Conan O’Brien, Vivienne wants to literally be him.
