Faye Deetsch (she/her) grew up right here in Eagle Rock with her sketchbook in one hand and a soccer ball in the other.  An expressive kid, she says “I always thought being an animator would be the coolest job ever,” - a dream that's still very present today. 

Now a freshman at ERHS, Faye is pursuing her passion for art through journalism. When she's not drawing, you can find her behind the camera in photo, on the tennis court, or indulging in her very sweet tooth. (Nerds gummies or Trader Joe’s Scandinavian swimmers to be exact.) Her Spotify is a diverse mix of indie with a bit of old-school hiphop, perfect for brainstorming her next masterpiece. She enjoys relaxing at home- spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Kona. 

Looking forward, Faye imagines leading a team to create her very own short film- hopefully from her cozy flat in London. After that, you’ll catch her sunbathing at her retirement escape in Hawaii. Until then, she is excited to lend her artistic skills to making the Eagle’s Scream even more vibrant.
