JDD: A night of jazz

April 23rd marked this year’s Junior Dinner Dance, an eagerly awaited event for all juniors who craved a slice of fun amidst a stressful school year. The venue was beautifully adorned with elegant decor, at the La Canada Country Club in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The night started off with Eagle Rock’s very own jazz band performing some amazing tunes and adding to the atmosphere of the event, which was themed A Night of Jazz.  The patio overlooked a gorgeous view of downtown, and was soon filled with students in beautiful dresses and suits eager to take photos. After a delicious Italian dinner, along with the announcement of JDD court, students took to the dance floor where the DJ was playing a collection of classic hits. Overall, the dance was an extreme success, thanks to the students who immersed themselves in the experience and showed off their spirit.
