Year of the horse at Huntington Gardens

This Lunar New Year welcomes the Year of the Horse, a Chinese zodiac sign symbolizing a high-energy, fast-paced era, focusing on leaving the past behind. To celebrate, the Huntington Lunar New Year Festival showcased an array of cultural displays, including Wushu Tai Chi performances with swords, spears, fans, and taiko drums, demonstrated by The Guo Jie Tai Chi Academy. While The Lion Dance Association entertained audiences with the L.A. Kun Seng Keng Dragon, and musical highlights featured the Han Music Ensemble, who played the piano and traditional instruments like the Guzheng and the Guqin.
