What song gets you pumped?
Mr. Pierce: “Lose Yourself” by Eminem.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you pick?
Mr. Martinez: Anywhere where the snow is really good. Right now, Mammoth would be great.
What's your spirit animal?
Mr. Aguilar: An eagle. Eagle for Aguilar.
What do you feel is unique to your sports (flag football and basketball)?
Ms. Wilkins: Flag football is fairly new and a lot of girls can be successful in different tasks. Basketball is very intense. Only a few girls are committed enough to take that chance.
What’s a secret talent you have?
Ms. Wilkins: I can sing.
What inspired you to coach lacrosse?
Coach Christina: I guess the love of the sport. And also, I convinced my daughter to play a long time ago, and have been trying to keep her active in the sport ever since.
Coach Heather: I think it’s an amazing sport. The idea of bringing a sport to this school that not a lot of people have played is really exciting, and I love the opportunity for women to play sports.
Coach Ben: I feel like some of my best memories are playing lacrosse with my friends, and I wanted my daughter to be able to experience that. And men’s and women’s lacrosse doesn’t translate, so it was a challenge to figure out how this game goes, so I figured it would be a lot of fun.
