About

Naomi Ortiz, a new senior here at Eagle Rock, just transferred from John Marshall High School. She resides in Echo Park, where one of her favorite things to do is go for walks at night when it’s cold. She works at a boba shop in Little Tokyo, and although she’s content with her job, she’s always had a passion for the arts. She enjoys crocheting, usually while watching Youtube videos about graphology or jamming out to Glaive. When she was younger, she even dreamed of being a fashion designer.

Aside from her passion for the arts, she’s also taken an interest in psychology. She hopes to attend her dream school, Lewis and Clark College, next year, a private liberal arts college in Portland, Oregon. In 10 years, she sees herself getting a graduate degree in Psychology which she has already begun to take steps towards; aside from quenching her interest for the arts by taking sculpture and drawing this year, she is also taking AP Psychology.

She aspires to be a therapist or something within the field of psychology one day. Her main goal is to help people, taking after her mom who runs a research center and works for immigrant rights. We can all expect great things from Naomi one day.
