As a passionate photographer, Nyda Hosack finds inspiration in the beauty around her, which supports her primary focus in her three years of journalism. With her appreciation for animals (her favorite being a whale shark), her dream job would be a photographer for National Geographic or a chemist for NASA. Aside from her love for animal photography, she also appreciates different genres of music and film. She admires R&B, and her favorite music artists are Kali Uchis, Billie Eilish, Lauren Hill, and U2 along with many more. Outside of music, her choice of television series are Outer Banks, Gilmore Girls, and Euphoria. She recalls crying for forty-five minutes the first time she watched The Sixth Sense with her dad. Along with her respect for different arts, Nyda is a green belt in karate and is currently working towards earning her third brown belt.
