Metzli Esparza (she/her) is a senior at Eagle Rock High School. Born in Los Angeles, she was whisked away in her infancy to Pennsylvania. Her fondest memory of there was when her aunt caught some snowflakes with a book and showed her how each one was different: an early instance of her curious nature.

Returning to LA, Metzli started at ERHS in 7th grade and joined journalism in 8th. In the moments between then and now, she’s found her passion in accessorizing and motivation in music. But in her final year of high school, Metzli is dedicating herself to doing what she can for the Eagle’s Scream and her club, the Women’s Charity and Support Club. Behind her in these endeavors is support from her parents and her friends: whom she adores with all her heart.

She sees that after her senior year, she'll go to a four-year college pursuing something that speaks to her. Perhaps down the line, you can find Metzli living in a flower field with a forest, a small village, and a Target nearby. Her cottage must also have Wi-Fi. It’s essential for her life-encompassing aspiration: to make a positive impact on the world.
