About
Lily Hoagland (she/her) is a junior here at ERHS. A majority of her childhood years were spent at Dahlia Heights Elementary, where she developed an enthusiasm for learning. Eager to master many skills, she took up an abundance of activities, including soccer and piano. She also tried her hand at gymnastics, despite having an inability to do the splits. Although her schedule was often packed, Lily always made sure to find time for having SpongeBob marathons.
Lily’s role in the newspaper is prominent. What started as a leisurely activity for her has now become an endeavor. She is currently editor in chief of the Eagle’s Scream, a position that gives her the responsibility of managing the publication and production of it all. Being able to oversee the operations is something that she enjoys. Lily is artistically adept as well, and her dedication to art over the last few years has resulted in major improvements.
Despite her aptitude for journalism, Lily is determined to pursue other interests when she graduates. She sees herself in a lab, hunched over a microscope, examining the biology of cells. Before she becomes a renowned scientist, however, she first wants to get her driver's permit. Lily is taking the future one step at a time, and the rest of her story is sure to be incredible.
