Lily Avina (she/her) has lived in Eagle Rock her whole life. The daughter of a cancer researcher, Lily has always taken an interest in STEM. When she was little, she wanted to be a food chemist because it combined two of her greatest passions: baking and science. Another of her favorite hobbies is dancing, which she began at only 2 years old.

Today Lily still bakes and dances but has developed other interests including biking, reading, and writing. She can’t decide on a favorite book, but credits Percy Jackson as being the series that got her into reading. One of her most admirable traits is that she is always determined to finish what she's started.

After highschool, Lily hopes to go to a good college. She still hasn’t decided on a college major, but thinks that she would like to be a lawyer, chemist, or forensic scientist. No matter what she chooses, it’s clear that she will lead a successful life.
