Karen Lin (she/her) was born on October 8, 2007, and is currently a sophomore at ERHS. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she grew up with 2 older siblings and 2 turtles, both of which are still alive to this day. Although she doesn’t believe her childhood is the most enticing, she does recall the memories she has made on National Geographic’s proclaimed “Animal Jam”. Thanks to “Animal Jam” and her desire to have that elusive spiked collar, Karen began to draw commissions for money.

Today, Karen works as a staff writer and artist on the Eagle's Scream. When it comes to her art, Karen describes her style as something that is vaguely anime. Due to her love of art and drawing, she is now a part of the Eagle’s Scream art team. Despite her calm demeanor, she would say that her spirit color is red. Why? Well to quote Karen, “It’s because I’m mad all the time.”

In Karen’s eyes, her future seems unclear. In the next 10 years, she hopes that she can go to college and possibly become a teacher. However unclear her future is, she knows that it will be bright.
