Astro Howard (he/it) grew up all over Los Angeles, but mainly in Highland Park and Glassell Park. He grew up with a lovely pet cat named Simba, and his love for this cat has led to his current love for all sorts of animals, including bats and bears.

He is now a junior here at Eagle Rock High School, joining journalism to explore the creative writing aspect of the class. Along with being a part of the school newspaper, he is also an avid member of the theater company with a love for K-dramas and a hate for celebrity privilege.

If there was one word to describe Astro, it would be “ambitious”, as he plans to quadruple major in journalism, culinary arts, acting, and business management at San Francisco State University. And eventually, he sees himself settling somewhere in New York and opening its own bakery.
