Ket Gill: An artist for the big screen

Ket Gill (he/him) grew up with art, as his art grew with him. Arms and hands filled with colorful drawings and meaningful doodles. He can recall the “best day of his childhood” when he won an art competition for his 1st grade class; his hunger for competition was fulfilled once he demolished his classmate’s lame excuse of a drawing. 

Taking a total of five art classes during his junior year, as he tries to avoid English and math as best he can, Ket enjoys dabbling in all sorts of art mediums. 2D drawing, painting, watercolor, acrylics, and more! Having art as a hobby full-time is very time-consuming, but Ket always leaves time for his five cats: Cookie, Cricket, Cocoa, Dusty, and Billy. He’s always had a cat in his household and plans on keeping it that way.

Ket seeks to be an animator for Sony Animations, taking great inspiration and admiration towards the new “Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse” movie made by that very company. After achieving his dream, he preferably wants to stay in sunny California, more specifically Long Beach, still drawing and animating and continuing his still fiery passion beside his army of fluffy cats.
