Bridges connects middle schoolers with upperclassmen

Updated: Nov 18, 2022

Our second Bridges meeting was a huge success with a record number of 7th and 8th graders showing up to join the fun. The focus of the meeting was to learn about the 10th-grade personal project and the IB learner profiles. Our junior and senior mentors did an amazing job teaching the middle schoolers about the Middle Years Programme.

Of course, it wasn't all about learning, because Bridges is about bonding and having fun as well. After the lesson, and of course, plenty of delicious snacks, mentors, and mentees played various board games such as Uno, poker, and a strange game called weird squeezy piggys.

The next Bridges meeting is coming up soon and we encourage all 7th and 8th graders to join us. Even if you didn't show up to the first two meetings, don't worry, you're welcome to join us in December. And of course, during the second semester. Check out these pictures to see how much fun the Bridges club had.
